Digging SEO
Howdy! So for these past few days or so I haven’t posting any sensible entry onto this blog, I was so busy learning and digging SEO. Yep, you’ve heard it right, I’m learning SEO for my other blog (and now its for real). I’m trying my best to understand SEO because I want my blog to have more visitors, readers, have higher page rank and more backlinks and so on, and of course to earn more money from my blog.
While exploring SEO, I’ve came across some articles and learned that commenting on do-follow blog will gain you a backlink from that blog. For example, if I comment on a PR 8 do-follow blog I will get backlink from that blog which really matters because getting backlinks from higher PR blog will definitely helps my blog to gain higher PR. So I searched on the net on how will I know if the blog is do-follow or not.
Then my search lead me to this Firefox Do-follow Addon. It will tell you if the blog is dofollow blog or not. All you have to do is to download the nodofollow Addon, once you have installed this addon, visit any website or blog and open any post then right click on the post and select NoDoFollow from the menu. Then, you will see all the links in that page highlighted in 2 colors either Blue or Red. If the link is Blue then it is Do-Follow and if the links are Red then it is No-follow blog.

Another good way to spot wether or not a blog is using nofollow is to use the mozBar by SEOmoz. It has a button where you can click “Nofollows” and it highlights all nofollow links in pink. It’s very handy.
