Heinrich Rudolf Hertz Birthday Google Doodle

I’m sure you have already seen Google’s doodle today and realized that the image is pretty familiar. Yes, that animated graph in Google’s homepage is the same graph you could find in your physics textbooks. Unlike past Google’s doodle creative illustration, today’s Google doodle is a pretty simple animated Gif of Electromagnetic colorful line.

Today’s Google Doodle is to honor the 155th birthday of Heinrich Rudolf Hertz, a German physicist who was the first man to broadcast and receive radio waves. His works laid the foundation of modern communication technology. The unit “Hz”, which is used to measure frequency, is named after him in 1930.
