Medicare Plan
Before, I can’t see the importance and purpose of Medicare plan to it’s beneficiaries (like me), and why every person should get this kind of plan. Until one day, last year, I experienced an extreme and frequent backache for months, that I couldn’t imagine will result to some kind of lung disease as per my doctor’s findings. I’ve gone through a lot laboratory examinations to confirm if I was positive for that certain disease, I also take some medications while waiting for the results of my examinations. Each pack of medicine I took cost me almost $15 for just one week medication. Needless to say, I’ve spent thousands of pesos for those exams and medicines. Good thing, I have medicare with me, so I was able to reimbursed half of money I used to pay for my medications and checkups. This made me realized that medicare plan is very important to have one, and very helpful to everyone in times of emergency.
